Shithil Makarasan (Relaxing Crocodile Pose)

Procedure 
  • Lie flat on your stomach, legs together and palms touching the sides of your thighs with your chin on the floor, i.e. Simple Prone Posture.
  • Now, spread your feet apart‚ as wide as possible, with the inner parts of the legs resting on the floor and also the heels facing each other.
  • Gradually, fold your arms at the elbows, and then place both palms on the opposite biceps.
  • Rest the chin on the crossed forearms and gently close your eyes.
  • Taking some slow and deep breaths, relax the whole body.
  • Mentally chanting “Radhey" while inhaling and “Krishna” while exhaling, stay in this pose for at least 2-3 minutes.
Awareness
  • On feeling relaxation of the whole body
  • On the breaths synchronized with mental uttering of the Divine Names “Radhey Krishna”
