Naturopathic Counseling

In the first visit to a Naturopath (N.D.), s/he will ask you about your history for an hour to know about your diet, lifestyle, bodily or mental stress, environmental exposures, etc. S/he may ask you to go through laboratory tests as in modern medicine while doing physical examination. First s/he focuses at your digestion system to check how your body is ingesting, digesting, absorbing, and assimilating the ingested diet.

A Naturopath always tries to treat you fully so that s/he will have privilege of considering several factors prior to the diagnosis of any ailments. Basically, s/he might query about your mental, emotional, and spiritual state along with the aforementioned investigation of your whole history. The general treatments that a Naturopath may go through are—

  • Nutritional tips
  • Herbal medicine
  • Homeopathy
  • Hydrotherapy
  • Acupuncture
  • Physical medicine (like electric current, joint manipulation, etc.)
  • Detoxification (removal of toxins from the body by fasting, enemas, and drinking water, etc.)
  • Spiritual counseling ( suggesting to meditate upon the form of God or concentrate on something natural)
  • Lifestyle counseling, etc.
