Health - Not the Mere Absence of Diseases !

Health is a universal sound state on all dimensions - physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Disease or "dis-ease" can be taken as a absence of comfort in the body. Disease results when any cell does not function properly whether due to trauma, toxin formations in the body, lack of communication, etc. The main reason of disease is stress and the accumulation of toxic matters in our body. Stress tears down health resulting in disease and our body has to pay the price for defying the laws of nature. It is us who earn the disease as we create a favorable condition for the dieases to get way into our tissues and organs. We must "work" for disease.
Disease is nothing more than the body responding to the wrong we have committed. It is the body's attempt at keeping us away from the toxins and traumas we have earned with violation of the laws of nature. Pathological changes are the cell's response to stress. The tissue changes which result in diseases, are the outward manifestation of internal compensation to stress and accumulated toxins. Until the cause is treated, the condition will remain in one form or another.
Naturopathic healing is a distinctively natural way to health and healing that centers on the integrity of the whole person. It emphasizes on multiple levels to look at: lifestyle, dietary habits, emotions and thinking patterns. These all facets have a great a relationship with the symptoms that are visible in our body. Whether we believe it or not, our body knows how we got sick, why we got sick and how to heal us.

Healing versus Suppression

Illness does not occur without any reason. Underlying causes of disease must be sought and treated before a person can recover completely from illness. Symptoms are the expressions the body's effort to heal, but are not the trigger of diseases. So, it's a great folly to suppress the symptoms with treatment. Doctors and surgeons treat instead of removing causes. The elimination of the symptom is never the same as the elimination of the disease. In Allopathy, a symptom is usually thought of as the patient's real disease and the effort is to hold back, decrease or eliminate this symptom. This is often an irrational way of addressing the underlying cause and this trend is never going bring any efficacious healing. The Naturopath seeks to treat the causes of disease, rather than to merely root out or suppress symptoms.

Priceless Sayings of Jagadguru Shri Kriplauji Maharaj

  • God and Bliss are both synonymous terms. Every individual of the word desires bliss alone hence he is a servant of bliss. Thus unknowingly he is a servant of Lord Krishna.
  • Devotion (Bhakti Yoga) is the only means to attain LORD KRISHNA (Bliss). This devotion is popularly known as Navadha Bhakti (Nine fold devotion).
  • Purification of the mind is possible only through devotional discipline whereafter one attains perfect devotion, and realises Lord Krishna.
  • It is impossible to acquire godly qualities of truth, non violence etc, without purification of the mind.
  • All spiritual discipline is related to the mind alone. Devotion performed only with sense organs is not spiritual discipline.
  • Love and hate in the material world have the same result. Detachment implies a state of indifference.
  • Perfection implies seeing Lord Krishna in all beings both movable and immovable.
  • Human birth is valuable but at the same time momentary. Hence even a moment’s delay in spiritual discipline can bring about a great loss.
  • Perceiving faults in others is the surest proof of one’s own faults.
  • Spiritual discipline is only possible under the guidance of a true saint.
